BACKGROUND In December 2019, a novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) caused an outbreak in Wuhan China and soon spread out to other parts of the world. According to the FDA, currently there is no evidence of food or food packaging being associated with transmission of COVID-19. The transmission of COVID-19 is thought to occur mainly through respiratory droplets generated by coughing and sneezing, and through contact with contaminated surfaces. It is believed that Coronavirus (COVID-19) is transmitted through the respiratory tract and can induce pneumonia. Other symptoms include fever, runny nose, sore throat, dry cough and shortness of breath. This outbreak poses a unique challenge for Aria Water as it spreads easily from affected individuals and has a great potential to cause widespread operational disruptions hence the need to proactively address the situation with all staff at Aria Water.
